-There was no need to "work" up the ladder when you're Mayweather Jr. He's already put in the work. The guy had been on the p4p list since 1998!! That's longer than anyone's ever been on there
Well that #2 was a lightweight, so when it comes to p4p that should have realistically downgraded him. would pavlik be p4p #1 if he beat manny?
anyways he did retire and its hard not to think that it had something to do with being in a great division with very tough competition, he doesnt retire and fights/beats those guys than he is hands down an all time great.

I think its nice to assume things too.

You do understand that some people think he left because he didn't want to fight Mosley, Cotto, Margarito, etc.

Some people are going to believe what they want regardless of what side of the Mayweather coin they're on.

People seem to forget that Floyd got his number one spot by default as well.

on HBO 2006 review they put PACQUIAO as number 1

at OSCAR vs FRAUD JR. press conference there would people that say to FRAUD that PACQUIAO is number 1 p4p.

Because Bernard Hopkins decided to fight someone his own size and lost? He shouldn't have been there in the first place.

We're using RING. Different lists say different things. RING is the status quo
