Yes it's a weird article. Is Vitali supposed to just twiddle his thumbs while Wlad fights Chambers, then Povetkin, then Haye, the three most credible contenders in the division?

Well said. Boxingscene seems to have been invaded by a lot of accountancy fans lately, who don't seem to realise that this is meant to be a site for boxing fans. Some of Floyd's so-called fans are the worst, though.

Having said that, Haye's tactics didn't surprise me at all, not for financial reasons, but simply because it was his best chance to win. He saw how a pretty shot Holyfield was able to be successful against Valuev (robbery apart) and pretty much copied Holyfield's game plan, which is what I predicted he'd try to do.

For all sportsmen in all sports, winning comes above providing entertainment. Where possible, they would mostly rather win entertainingly, but bottom line, all sportsmen want to win. That's why it's called sport, and not show business.

But he knows he needs to be more exciting against Ruiz, in order to remain credible as a top opponent for the Klitschkos.

He could be fighting Haye in June or July. I have heard that Haye has refused to return any of Vitali's calls so maybe it wasn't going to happen anyway.

I really don't think Haye is good enough to beat either K-bro but the Wlad/Haye fight is interesting because if Haye comes out of that corner with intent to try and test that questionable chin of Wlads out, we could have something resembling fireworks that will end in a devastating but quick ending for either man.

If a Haye/Wlad fight went to the 4th round c'mon you know its just going to be dr. steelhammer operating with his favorite tool(the jab) until he is ready to use some more heavy equipment to end this surgical procedure between the 10th-12th.

Haye will fight both of them, he will KO Wlad first and then deal with Vitali.

Funny this. Recently i have wanting to know how Vitali is thinking about a Haye fight happening and this answers it. Still seems quite enthusiastic. His logic is pretty sound. Plus he is older so he better fight Haye before its too late.
Wlad has got plenty of time to get it on with Haye, that is if Haye beats Vitali. If Vitali beats Haye and then the wlad and haye fight is unlikely am i right?
