I'm a big Cotto supporter, but he will never beat Pacquiao.

Also not sure about McGirt in Cotto's corner (then again, when's the last time McGirt's had an elite fighter he can actually guide?).

    We shall see...

Besides a lot of people in Cottos team didnt want McGirt, but Arum pushed for him!
I agree with you, I really don't like the McGirt...

Cuellas would of been a good option.

I wanted Cotto do go with a Nacho or even Emanuel Steward. I felt those two were good fits for him...

How do you think he will look like at 154 against Foreman?

        - mcgirt should be a good fit for cotto

        - I can see a rationale for a fighter of the decade manny pacquio/cotto rematch
        1. its for a belt at 154
        2. *****s and cotto fans think cotto was weight drained that's why cotto lost
        3. *****s thought cotto was outboxing pac late in the fight

personally, I don't think its necessary, but i suppose this is to prove beyond all doubt that pound for pound champion and national treasure manny pacquaio is just a better fighter than cotto

WTF!!? He didn't win 5 rounds out of 12, never mind the first 6. How can you "take away the knockdowns?", they happened.

A lot of people think Cotto is better going forward but I don't know if I agree with that.

The problem is that he has the talent to be a better boxer but never developed it. His biggest problem, in my opinion, is getting lured into a brawl because he doesn't have the chin or the power to do it at 147.

If he would have stayed more disciplined against Pacquiao and not come forward recklessly, he would have had much more success, but Santiago put it in his mind that he had to pressure him, and that wasn't smart.

He lost against Tony cause he never learned how to box efficiently enough to deal with that kind of pressure, but with a better background he had the potential to be SOOO much more versatile.

Cotto will be knocked out next time if they fight. Manny knows now that Cotto can't hurt him. Pointless fight.

He's saying minus the knockdown's. Not sure there's any point in taking away the KD's cause it's boxing, but that's what he means and it's kinda true. Cotto won the 1st, was winning the 3rd and 4th till the KD's and won the 5th.

After that, it was a complete wipeout.

Just made a thread about that. I wouldnt be surprised if Arum pulled this out his ass as some grudge match.,

If he weights fight night his usual 155-160 he will be fine. Foreman aint **** to tell you the truth. He looked scared everytime Santos even fainted. And Cotto is not shot like idiots suggest here, he just lost to Pacquiao who is the best in the bussines. Peopl like to write of fighter after one loss. Look at Barrera after his 2 loses against Junior Jones and to Morales, nobody gave him a chance to beat Naz and you see what happend there
