          - Fres would have been a good choice, but he can't leave Chicago because of legal problems

          - Thompson was already KOed by Wlad

          - Quezada was available, but doesn't have the resume of Sosnowski, who's European heavyweight champion.

Sosnowski has 45 wins, including Williams, Norris and Vidoz. He's not a top-tier heavyweight, but he is ranked #13 by the WBC and there were really not a lot of other options.

By the way, I scored the Sosnowski-Lawrence fight a draw, although Lawrence did come on strong in the late rounds. Those scorecards were ridiculous though. Sosnowski had an off night, like all fighters do sooner of later. Lawrence has had some good wins, like his win over Jameel McCline.

Terrible. Chalk up another win for the "great" Vitali Klitschko. Man, if only every fighter knew that all you had to do in order to enter the HOF was beat countless chumps then lose to the only great fighter you fight.

I still can't believe Valuev turned down over $2mil...

And, Vitaly is one of the most active elite champion in boxing right now...

Robot wars. This will be terrible. Audley v Vitali would have been a better fight.

This. I hope Valuev cries himself to sleep everynight for passing up 2.5 mil. Valuev acts like he's going to be in the HOF or something and needs to protect his record.

Sosnowski will be a good tuneup for Vitali to get used to Haye's size.

Thompson lost to wladimir, not vitali. and he made a name for himself in that fight and he has some very solid wins over t. ibragimov, luan krasniqi, chazz witherspoon, dominick guinn. Not only that, but thompson is known over in Germany having fought most of his high profile fights over there. So, i feel it'd be perfect..but oh well.
