Did Miguel Cotto Duck Floyd Mayweather Jr?

Bob Arum said Cotto was not ready for Floyd when Cotto was at 140. That's the truth. You can actually find his comments on the internet. So whether he grew balls at 147 or not, he definitely didn't want none at 140 and I believe he knew in his heart that whatever weight they would have fought at he would have gotten outboxed. Floyd would have made Cotto look like an amateur-Boxing circles around him.

Cotto (rightfully so) did not want any part of Mayweather at 140.
At 147, Cotto never made a mention of Floyd until Floyd retired.
Im not sure you call it ducking, because Floyd wasnt calling Cotto out, but it was fairly evident that Miguel did not want to fight Floyd Mayweather.

For those saying PBF didn't call out Cotto since when does the P4P #1 fighter and champion call out challengers for his spot? When did that become the way it worked? Challengers always issue the challenge and call out the champ not the other way around.

Cotto always said he would fight anyone they put in front of him. (They) is a keyword because he's talking about top rank he leaves that up to them to take care of. And Mayweather never called for Cotto either so this thread is pointless. And those saying Mayweather doesn't have to call anyone out is bull****. Bottom line Cotto never ducked anyone and he doesn't call out anyone and if he gets the chance to fight Mayweather I'm sure he'll take it.
