Also not to d1ck ride manny but I can only imagine that if the plaster scandal along with the shane loss didn't happen and Pac would have been Marg with the buzz he had, Pac would have shot so far up the ATG list it wouldn't have even been funny.
    no, you are ****riding

Ima have to disagree on this. A prime DLH had the style to beat toney but in the camp leading up to his Pac showdown, DLH was getting ****d by Valero. He couldn't keep him off of him and Edwin beat him up so bad he got sent home. Valero was a 130lb at the time I believe so imagine was a huge WW like Toney with a more aggressive style would do.

BTW the fight would have happened at 147 because a year leading up to the Pac showdown, Oscar stated he was coming to WW again. First it was for a Floyd rematch. That fell through so he want to fight Cotto there. Cotto lost to Toney so Oscar went after Pac.

I don't recall exactly. I thought he mentioned PBF while in the crowd watching Clottey vs Judah. Not sure. But anyway what was the point? PBF had already retired even before the Cotto-Margarito fight took place. Margarito was chasing Oscar.

            Why would he?

He already called him out 50 times before that and FLOYD instead took a fight with SHARMBA and then against ZAB!

Yeah at 147 I dont give Oscar a chance. Valero whooping his ass probably couldve been due to him losing weight too though.

naah i don't think Oscar had starved himself down at that point. I can't remember but I don't think so. I may not even be Oscar being finished but more along the lines of Valero being that good and underrated.

He chased him for like 3 years with no avail, besides Money was retired and Hoya was the man everyone wanted to fight at that time so why would he call him out? you are such a nuthugger.

Mayweather ducked Margarito, just like De La Hoya did, just like Mayorga and Judah did,and just like Mosley did when Margarito was in his prime.

Margarito was the real avoided man in the sport, not overhyped jokers like Paul Williams.
