This is a fight to make Manny look great.
Fighting against a guy with a very good chin who is big and strong, but with little technical ability, minimal power, and someone who likes to sit against the ropes and let his opponent punch himself out.

It is the perfect opponent for what this fight is...a spectacle.

Come on man. Roach already stated that Floyd is no Diaz, Oscar,
Hatton or Cotto and that they would have to change everything
up style wise and Manny's thinking to have a shot at beating Floyd.
Still can't believe people think Floyd is ducking a man that his own
trainer is not confident in their chances. Look at how he is talking
about Clottey. Do you see the difference? How can people continue
to praise Pac when Roach keeps putting his foot in his mouth
about the opponents Pac is facing? Manny saying what he is going
to do and actually doing it are two different ball games. Manny had
the chance to prove it but instead opted to refuse the random blood
tests and fight the guaranteed win in their minds Clottey. How more
blatant is that? What more can be said about Roach and Pac? They
have revealed to the world that they pick non threats to Manny! No

they'll both get past their opponents, but let's hope they can come to some kind of consensus. floyd has stated he's gonna ask for 60/40 if his ppv outsells pac's, and while that may just be posturing, and i don't think money would ever get in the way of the fight happening, floyd has also stated he'll demand random drug testing "all the way up" until the fight this time, while top rank has maintained they'll agree to no such demand, unless mandated by the NSAC.

let's hope something gives, or let's hope the NSAC decides to implement the OST if only to "try it out," for this one fight.

what rock do you live under. The only time Mayweather was in Manny's shadow is when Mayweather retired. After negotiations fell apart, Manny's been in Mayweather's shadow. Thats why they keep talking **** about him. He took a harder fight, now you got Roach saying that "Clottey does nothing to scare them." LOL, and after 25mil you left on the table this is who Manny's next opponent is.

Pretty much. Just like the did De la Hoya, when Roach coached him against Mayweahter, after the fight he said De La Hoya can no longer pull the trigger. So what do they do, they ask him to move down to WW, his first fight there in over a decade. And we talk about mayweather's suspect list.
