How is Pac/Roach cherry picking Clottey when he's the top welterweight available:

-Mosley and Berto were fighting each other, and when Berto pulled out coz of the earthquake Pac already signed the contract to fight Clottey

-Him and Mayweather's superfight has just fallen through

-Margarito got his license suspended, Pac just TKO'd Cotto and Paul Williams just came off a fight with Martinez

-He obviously does not want to campaign at any weight lower than 147 since hes trying to prove himself at welter

Oh please. I got Clottey having a chance for the upset because hes being overlooked by Pac. It has nothing to do with his skills.

i dont know i watched a lot of film of clottey last night, in the gym, on the mitts, in fights....
comparing his speed and agility to pacs he is extremely slow. of course most are slow compared to pac but studying last night i realized he is much, much slower, a complete mismatch..
at least hatton had some agility and footwork. josh comes straight and looks like he has no mobility or trunk movement at all.

i see this being a complete blow out for pac

i agree, im not a fan of floyd the man, but i do think he beats pac because not only of his speed, timing and accuracy and because of his size. i dont think pac has comparable frame to hurt floyd. i think floyd knocks pac out in 11.
i also think shane beats floyd due to activity and landing more shots against a pot shotting floyd. i think shane wins the first 4 rounds, the 7th and the last 3.

Fighting against a guy with a very good chin who is big and strong, but with little technical ability, minimal power, and someone who likes to sit against the ropes and let his opponent punch himself out.

It is the perfect opponent for what this fight is...a spectacle.
Not a boxing match.
