PED testing

weight draining to get the advantage over your opponent and asking for a fair fight through accurate random blood testing are 2 different things....Comment

Have you even read the NSAC rule on testing? in a nutshell, a fighter has the right to ask for additional testing, if both parties agree.I know this PED thing is a bit tiresome, but i just want to get some feedback on this..
as a manny fan, although i agree that he has every right to refuse the unsanctioned testing, i would have loved for him to take the tests and fight floyd.
my question to floyd fans is how would they feel if floyd dropped the testing and say "id fight that guy steroids or not"
if im a floyd fan (im not), i would have loved for him to say that.
its pretty sickening that some "fans" are willing to down right accuse a fighter who has done nothing but good for the sport cause of his refusal to do something that is NOT REQUIRED BY ANY COMMISION cause of their man-love for a fighter
And no, I would not want Floyd to drop the test, nor would I back him if he fought him without it.
I guess you dont know to much about PEDs, EPO is just too much, the guy just wont get tired and thats not fair at allComment

Overweight Penalties
Smaller/Bigger glove sizes
Smaller/Bigger rings
have been stipulated in contracts before
Additional Drug Testing????? NEVER in the HISTORY of The Sport..........
why single out Manny Pacquiao?Comment

Once upon a time, those were never "in the HISTORY of the sport" negotiable stipulations in a contract. That is, until someone included them within their pre fight proposals.
There's a first for everything.
He didn't single Manny out. He himself was supposed to take the test, and now Sugar Shane is taking the test.

look i dont think manny is per se guilty but his refusal, the 21 day cutoff and all the inconsistent excuses out of his camp is enough to make even experts in the field su****ious. Why the cutoff, why the refusal, why keep changin the story? If its a pride thing ok but everyone should admit that it was a ****** move, he lost the revenue from the fight, he lost the opportunity to shut Floyd's mouth with his fist and he lost the ability to remove any doubts. I love watchin pac fight but every time I see him fight now or talk about him in the back of my mind their is cloud of su****ion. Oh also regardless if the PED's are proven or not it I consider the guy as improving his boxing abilities by leaps and bounds and is an amazing fighter, ATG class.Comment

Ok, first of all fans can't really say one way or another what a fighter may have done in his career. Fans have no control over what testing is in place. Only fighters and the commissions have any say. And when it comes to fighters, a fighter has to be confident his opponent will be willing to agree to the terms.I know this PED thing is a bit tiresome, but i just want to get some feedback on this..

In this case, Mayweather, I guess, was too confident that Pacquiao would agree to the terms...seeing as how the mere mention of blood testing scared Pacquiao away. That said, I feel Floyd should have said, ver batim, "I don't care if Pacquiao is on PED's; I'll beat his a$$ anyway." Because it's likely Pacquiao is on PED's, BUT Floyd would beat his a$$ anyway.Comment

Dude, get a clue. This isn't a stipulation designed precisely for Manny Pacquiao. If you believe that it was you're foolish. Mayweather got all of this from the Olympic testing framework.
Now, you mean to tell me that Mayweather requesting the Olympic testing was wrong? Really? Especially, since even the most optimistic of testers admit that Olympic testing misses most cheats?
That's horse**** and if you have an ounce of objectivity you'd admit it.Comment
