Basically, that is my beef. Could he get a fighter ... raw ... with a strong offensive skills , then develop him in a way that would play into that fighter's strength? Back at you.
Naw I know that. I mean can Roger help his d get better. I think he can.

roger's not even the brother known for his defensive acumen, that's floyd sr.
roger's probably a more blanced trainer than floyd sr, but all those defensive techniques are the work of floyd sr. he's the one that laid the foundation.

You can't really judge Roger Mayweather as a trainer yet. I mean if you want to be honest, Roger got Floyd at around the same time he retired and Floyd had just become Fighter of the Year and got a huge HBO contract. Within two years of Floyd signing with Roger Floyd became one of the top 5 pound for pound fighters in the world and probably within 5 years he became the top pound for pound fighter in the world.

Very few top trainers do anything to lose the top fighter in the world. Roger got threatened of losing Floyd when Roger tried to train Steve Forbes against O DLH. Think what might happen if he tried to train someone who was/is actually good. We'll know how good Roger is as a trainer after Floyd retires for good and not a moment before then.
