when you watched the fight when it actually happened...in no way you'd go with marquez.

my theory why people say marquez won, and its just my opinion... Pac was introduced to mainstream media as this collosal fighter who cant be hurt and who dominates his opponents....and this is what they saw in the DLH, and consequently, the hatton fight.

then they try and watch the old fights to get sum history on whoever this pacquiao is, and what they see is a normal dude getting whacked by marquez and morales.

if you stuck by pac's career from the beginning... no question in my mind that you'd see growth. he was a lame one handed fighter who spammed his left punch. In my mind he grew and developed during his wars with MAbarrera, morales, and marquez. those 3 made pac who he is today.

dont believe me? watch older pac fights before Mab-Mor-Mar. he was nothing special.

i seen this fight when it 1st happened and i thought pacquiao lost then and i still think he lost the 2nd fight to me was a closer fight.the only decesive round pacquiao had was the 1st the rest were marquez rounds or toss up rounds

I think Pac won those fights, but the point being, he should have won both fights(Specifically the 1st one) by more than the skin of his teeth.

You knock somebody down that many times in the 1st fight and can only get a DRAW and you score a knockdown the 2nd fight and get a SD?

I don't like playing the "What If" game, but had he gotten one or two less knockdowns on Marquez out of the 4 times he knocked him down, there's a good chance he would have ended up with an L to Marquez

JMM beat Pacquiao BOTH times almost all boxing experts scored the fights for JMM. Ronnie Nathanielsz even thought that JMM won the second fight.

2nd fight could have went either way with Pac having the edge due to the knockdown. Pac was robbed in that fight of a knockdown though.
