Or maybe hes just showing some respect, for god sake why is it so hard for people to give credit were credits due... all he did was ring him and gave him a confidence boost, but he can't even do that without being sellfish.

I mean, like it was said in this thread, Floyd didn't just call Chad up and say 'hey, you're pretty good, man'. That's a confidence boost.

He called the kid up and said, 'you're pound for pound best in my book, man. You're speed is killer' or something like that.

I'm just saying it cheapens any endorsement he gives to Alexander.

Sure. It's nice he told the kid he was good, though. Confidence boosts are always great when they come from an older fighter he probably has a huge amount of respect for.
