    ****** thread.

Here's the scenario: After the Pac vs Clottey fight, Pac is going to go home to his country. Boxing would be the last thing on his mind. PRESSURES ARE OFF. With all the unpleasant events that transpired over the last couple of months the only way anyone could convince him to go back to the US to fight is a clear go signal without any of the fuss that accompanied the previous failed negotiations. Bottom line is, if you want him, give him a clear platform. If not, he could care less. Mayweather not giving in to a 50/50 split is a surefire of ending the talks right there. It just means he is really not interested. (He's scared, why would he?)

no, people will look at floyd as a bully

i agree if floyd beats shane he's the #1 WW, but pac is still #1 p4p

boxing insiders will be pissed at floyd for not sticking to 50/50.

pac and arum's position will still be 50/50 or they walk.

thats why they wont pick up where they left off.
they won't, but still 50/50 or no fight
Floyd will walk in with proof hes the bigger draw, beat the bigger threat and the guy who beat the guy(mosley>marg>cotto,) and won the belt officially with out catchweights and forcing the champion to put the belt on the line
pound for pound champion manny pacquiao will give floyd the middle finger and say "see you later gay boys" and walk out.

not to mention, pac is fighting a guy who lost his last fight...hahaa
so what, judah lost his last fight before he fought mayweather

thats even more heat coming their way. they are the ones wiith their backs against the wall
whatever you say man. i doubt they dismiss manny and everything he's accomplished in his career becuz a fight with floyd fell apart. everything he had already achieved would still exist.
"backs against the wall..." pfff. i dont think manny or top rank would care. see how easily they moved on?

lets not ignore the fact that when the Pac/May negotiations fell apart..(before May/Mosley talks began) Arum went on record saying If the Pac fight did better numbers than Floyds..they will have to negotiate and get a bigger split...why on earth did he do that!..that gave Floyd ammo to respond if his fight did better numbers, he was demanding a bigger split..
so again blame Arum for his loose mouth!
I personally think Floyd has the standing to demand a bigger split, because he has proven himself as the common denominator when it comes to PPV sells..but if they can agree on 50/50, even better..as long as the fight is made..

Look, *****, Pac is not the one pretending to clean up the sport. He suspended his political ambition thinking that it would be any other fight that was made without so much fuss. Instead, he was slandered, accused of doing something dirty and all that ****, then asked to bow down to your Almighty.

Bottom line is, Pac is an exciting fighter. Floyd is boring, which explains the PPV sales. Half of them is rooting for his ass getting KTFO.

if floyd comes to the table without a 50/50 split everyone will understand that it's floyd's fault for the fight falling apart and that floyd is ducking. who's the duckweather now?

exactly, as long as the fight gets made, and it ain't getting made without a 50/50 split
