So...you're less impressed by Corrales catching up to a running Freitas....than you are by Tszyu KOing a weak-chinned, mediocre-punching fighter who stood right in front of him ?
Which boxer impressed you this year?

Corrales could of done more in the fight than he did. That's what makes me less impressed with his win over Frietas. What would of happened if Frietas didn't tire down the stretch? A fighter can't always depend on that. With Tszyu it's probably just because I didn't expect him to come in the fight and run through Mitchell the way he did.Originally posted by jabsRstiffSo...you're less impressed by Corrales catching up to a running Freitas....than you are by Tszyu KOing a weak-chinned, mediocre-punching fighter who stood right in front of him ?Comment

Tzyu surprised mitchell, mitchell was lookin at a more relaxed easy going fight, but tzyu was more agressive then he had expected, thats wat impressed me. but both of you have some good points.Originally posted by jabsRstiffSo...you're less impressed by Corrales catching up to a running Freitas....than you are by Tszyu KOing a weak-chinned, mediocre-punching fighter who stood right in front of him ?Comment

Had a questionable year of return (after two years out) in 2003.
Beating easy guys, than getting battered in a war towards the end.
He regrouped in 2004. Fighting an intelligent fight against the guy he warred with....& then scoring a dramatic KO over a very difficult foe, in one of the year's best matchups.
couldnt have said it better.
