Blah blah blah. Why criticize the fighter based on what his trainer said?

Look at Pacquiao's achievements and forget the talk, it's the only thing that matters.

But Mosley is still good even at 38, has a good trainer
AND is capable to pull an upset. No one is even giving Clottey
a chance? I think Clottey has a style that can give Pac problems
because he never rushes in uprotected but from the masses
point of view this is a gimme win for Pac. Roach honest assesments
of Pac's last opponents are "can't pull the trigger", "shot", "No legs
since Floyd", "Not the same fighter since Margarito" "Clottey's
not that good". If Roach is being honest about them guys Pac
beat and fights, then how can WE the fans honestly consider
Pac the P4P#1 when the guys he has beaten lately are considered
has beens, washed up and or not very good? How can these be
legit wins for Pac if they never treated them like legit threats?

If Pacquiao stops Clottey, I think that would be a very impressive accomplishment. Clottey has never come closed to being stopped. He is rugged, very well conditioned and underrated. He will be bigger than Pacquiao and he looks more muscular and stronger.

He has something to prove himself, so, I don't think he'll fall apart the first time he is tapped on the chin. Pacman will have to land several perfect shots to the chin and I will be surprised he can do that. But I'm not saying it can't happen.

Just forget all the roids talk, People who keep saying that sound like they been programmed by a cult. I see no evidence.

OK, so your thing is to overlook facts coming out of the trainer
mouth to give Pac his just due? Roach is the one helping Pac
pick and train him for these fighters that are putting him at the
top. I'm not criticizing Pac at all but rather calling it how I
see it. What Pac is achieving is due to Roach's assesments
and suggestions so how can you not take into consideration what
          the trainer says?

Roach talks a lot of ****, but honestly, I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if Pacman Ko'd Clottey in late rounds or if there was a stoppage.

Clottey just doesn't impress me at all. Sure he has a solid chin but its open to be hit and he doesn't move well. This will probably end up being a walk in the park in the later rounds for Pacman.

The real question in this fight is how much punishment can Clottey withstand?

Well i think ****m Richardson summed it up pretty well----> Clottey is a guy who knows how to give a tough fight and be competitive without winning.............i don't think Pac will knock Clottey out....IMHO Clottey is a bigger test than Cotto for Pac.......

A stoppage is definitely possible. Clottely is one of my fav fighters but he's not active enough. I foresee Clottey in that defense shell, that he does so well, blocking a majority of pacquiao's punches but not countering. The ref will intervene and stop the fight and Clottey will contest the decision and say he wasn't hurt, which may be true but you can't fault the ref for looking out for a fighter's best interest, especially when that fighter is not doing enough to convice the ref otherwise.

With that being said, Clottey is sharp, in great shape, and has a solid chin. Like someone said earlier not even margacheato hurt him when they fought. I'm rooting for Clottey to pull the upset, but if i were a betting man I would go with pacman.

Yeah or Floyd selling a war when all we get is a marathon. "If I hurt him, I will finish him." So much for believing in Floyd.
