Since when does a welterweight championship fight have a maximum weight limit of 145 lbs? (Pacquiao-Cotto).

Since when does a fight have customized weight requirements? (De La Hoya)

If Cotto had a real problem with 145, he should have said so. I obviously am a Paq fan, and even I thought at the time that they should have fought at 147, even if they had it would have made no difference. At least Cotto made the agreed upon weight (unlike Mayweather when he fought JMM). The DLH fight was agreed upon at 147, and it took place at 147. The only additional requirements regarding the weight in that fight was a severe penalty if DLH came in over 147.

It is totally pointless to bring up Paqs early losses, he basically hadnt learned how to box, was still throwing nothing but left handed bombs. By your logic the New Orleans Saints must be cheating because they werent very good five years ago, and now they are. They must be cheating.
