usually floyd just stumbles upon it while boxing his opponent, but that's all floyd, that's not roger.

posturing, misdirection and bull****. They watch tapes all day.........

That is because there is none check hook. I think Roger trained Cornelius Lock for a little bit but it really didn't work out. Roger was training Lock GF that he choke. And, he has three other fighters I have never heard of plus Vargas... IMO Vargas will prove if he is a good trainer or not.

Anyone who doesn't say Roger Mayweather isn't a good trainer nees to look at Floyd at 130 when Roger was training him and Floyd at 130 when his father trained him. There's a noteable difference. Floyd with his father was a much more defensive fighter even at 130 when he still threw punches.

Roger rounded Mayweather's offensive skills and Floyd Sr. rounded his defensive skills. The Floyd Mayweather today combined both.

Kevin Cunningham is a good trainer though. He gets major props. Roger is a good trainer though.

Most fighters who come out of Michigan......Sr, Jr, James Toney, roger, hell even a guy like Dirrel......they know how to "box"....their is a wealth of knowledge re boxing in that state......look at Dirells analysis of AA on fight camp 360.....the few things he mentioned were right on the money.......they tend to be trained by knowledgable trainers.............

Huh? I know who he didn't train Vernon. I dont know what others fighters hes developed. I know about the one he DID develop and hes the best on the planet.

So you are telling me that if Roach decided to train these guys like Roach they would suck

                Binavedez

                Rigondeaux

                Khan

                Hopkins

You act like Roach got guys who couldnt tie there shoe laces or something. Rogers chooses to make Floyd his MAIN priority. So thats a bad thing?

then again Rogers advice in the corner tends to be pretty good when i can actually understand what he is saying

roger don't watch tape to study the opponent for habits or mistakes, roger just watches tape to figure out who they need for sparring.
