I think the whole stance in this thread is that its bull**** for Manny to make Cotto the Champion bend over to a demand but Floyd isnt allowed to ask him anything. Cotto didnt do Manny like that.

but cotto is the one who came up with the 145 weight limit.

Arum wanted Cotto-Pac more then anything. It was his big Top Rank money fight. He never gave a crap about Cotto he threw him under the bus and defended Margarito then he feeds Cotto to a huge crafty slick fighter in his firdt fight at 154 to use him as a stepping stone.

This is a very unbiased post. Im glad to see this around here. I can respect people's opinions who differ from mines but what I find disgusting is earner and burner posts because you can see the hate for pac by the way they respond.

Cotto wont be 147 Pounds on fight night. He was coming in at 160 sometimes for 147. He will be short but he wont be small hes a stocky big dude. Hes short just like Porter is for the weight.

But it's proven that Cotto doesn't fight well against fighters who can impose their size. With the exception of Foreman, all the guys listed would bring it right to Cotto and probably would succeed.

Also, to be fair to Shawn, let's see him with the big dogs at 154lbs before we can make judgment on his size compared to Cotto who's fought world class opposition.

so in the pac/floyd negotiations... pac suggested a 20 day cut off and floyd disagreed.

it's up to the athletic commission not mayweather..
if the commission requires it. I'm for it. If not then no.
one fighter shouldn't have to take a drug test on top of the commissions test
just because someone is afraid to fight him.
either everyone does it or no one does.
anyway, the commissions test right now are good enough and before
mayweather got his panties in a bunch and got scared, no one complained about it.
