read it it's actually not bias......it's common sense......if Floyd himself was saying it was a PED because Pac was using it i would criticise him also....it's just not a PED....it's been used in all sports since time immemorial.....

That's why you'll hear it everywhere and the ones who call and clamor for it wonder why it isn't taken seriously by major bodies whoever they maybe in the media is primarily because of that bolded/highlighted sentence in your post.

The only thing is unlike in other sports where i believe they use it rampantly, in boxing you use primarily for your fist to be numb, and if one thought it was cheating wherein the xylocaine-souped boxer can't feel anything when he punches is not fair to the other who doesn't use it, they have a point.

But it's definitely not a PED, coz no performance is enhanced in pumpin' it to the fist, it just numbs it, as a matter of fact, it's dangerous coz a boxer with it won't even know his hands are busted so bad already but can't feel anything next thing you know you can't even hold a stressball.

its a local anaesthetic.....you can't use it a week before the fight in Nevada and even if u did....if u hurt your hand u would still feel it........

i keep reading comments that Floyd is a PED user because he uses Lidoicaine injections and topical creams on his hands. Firstly Lidocaine is not listed under WADA's illigal substance list. Furthermore many posters on here claim Lidocaine is banned for use in boxing pre-fight except for in Nevada. So it is banned in all 49 states except Nevada??? Can anyone provide proof to this effect??......i doubt it....why?? It's simply not true......i think you will find a Floyd hater/blogger conveniently made it up without doing some fact checking first.

all athletes use lidocaine.......without lidocaine the NFL, NBA, MLB as you know it would not exist!!!!! How many times have you heard of an NFL player or NBA player getting a pain killing injection in an ankle, knee or shoulder so they can play......all the time!!!!!.......if Floyd is a PED user because he uses painkillers......well then every pro athlete in the world is a PED user full stop!!!! ......


I think you will find.....and common sense (and yes i understand it's a trait many of you don't seem to have) will tell you there is plenty of boxers out there who use Lidocaine in it's various forms on their hands and other parts of their body. Freddie Roach or anyone who knows boxing will tell you this.....there is a reason Roach came out and said "Lidocaine is not a PED" when he could have used it to trash Floyd....it's because many of his fighters have undoubtedly used it in the past and in the present.......hell he tried to condone JT using steroids to get over an injury....you think he is not legally using Lidocaine for his fighters.......i swear you guys are incredibly naive.......

Floyd was a using a pain killers that helps him throw more punches than he normally does. You should be thankful for the lidocaine/xylocaine or whatever drugs that floyd is using.
