i find it interesting especially when roach is like telling on his own team. he saying that they knew oscar wasnt hungry and ready anymore he couldnt make the weight cotto was damaged goods hatton was damaged goods. so its like they pick high profile fights but kind like put handicaps on them. and roach is admiting this stuff. so its like can you really credit manny for them? he admit they would only fight mosley if he came down to 142 bull**** the better the fighter the more handicap they have to give them. the fact that its roach saying this is crazy. i dont feel manny is afriad of anyone but he is under controll of his promoter and coach
i just saw this for first time

But, like he was saying this before the fight right? And, when he was saying it before the fight even happenes what were you think about his statements? Or did you not know about this statements before all those fights happened?i find it interesting especially when roach is like telling on his own team. he saying that they knew oscar wasnt hungry and ready anymore he couldnt make the weight cotto was damaged goods hatton was damaged goods. so its like they pick high profile fights but kind like put handicaps on them. and roach is admiting this stuff. so its like can you really credit manny for them? he admit they would only fight mosley if he came down to 142 bull**** the better the fighter the more handicap they have to give them. the fact that its roach saying this is crazy. i dont feel manny is afriad of anyone but he is under controll of his promoter and coach
And, did you know that when Pac-Cotto negotiatons stalled a bit. Shane came out and said he would go down to 140 to fight Pac not at 142 but at 140 in Pac weight to fight for Pac belt. I think if Roach really wanted to handicap and fight Shane he would of tooken him at that 140 offer. Because, personally IMO Cotto is a tougher fight at 145 then Shane is at 140 just my opinion.Comment

either way they would fight cotto and shane with handicaps. i cant really credit manny and call him P4P king when your handicaping your opponents. if you going to go up in a weight division then you fight someone at that weight you dont make all these catchweights you dont win a 147 pound belt but weight limit is 145 or 142. i dont think roach wanted to fight shane period. if shane agreed to 142 i dont think roach would have taken. he admitted to not fighting ppl at their best and not giving them an advantage. the point of going up in weight is to fight someone at their class. you dont go up make them go down you taken away their advantage thus going up in weight means nothingBut, like he was saying this before the fight right? Mosley @ 140, 141, 142, 143, etc.. it didnt matter, they didnt want that fight. Cause According to Roach he brings no money and is too good. But, like he was saying this before the fight right? "Shane came to the gym twice to ask me to let him fight Manny," Roach says. "I told him no both times, and both times for the same two reasons: First, there isn't enough money there, and second, you're too good a fighter."

i knew about thsi stuff before and saw this way back just thought it go well with this thread. but i feel freddie is a sore loser. too many dumb excuses i dont know if he be serious or if he dont dominate i mean manny dont dominate roach isnt satisfied.
i feel manny beat marquez close both fights but if marquez can stay up the whole fight he would have won both. part of the vid i dont agree was that manny was ducking marquez when marquez turned it down because he wanted more money from manny. but it does seem like roach wants manny to fight big names after they have droped a level or 2. my whole point of this is because floyd talks alot of **** he gets hated on alot. but these fans make manny out to be a messiah when him and his team is not. its bull****. no matter what they blame floyd of everything anyone cna come say floyd just said jesus is gay. you have 30 post saying floyd a devil worshiper and all kinds of ****. craazyComment

every fighter does that the pick low risk high reward Mosley was a high risk fight and Manny had a nice streak going. Plus arum usually likes to keep profit in house so they would have fought the winner of Cotto v.s Clottey for the WBO regardless of what SSM offered. don't buy into that good guy fighting for pride persona it's a businessComment
