I hope Valuev takes it so we can see Klitschko KO him.

I was always in two minds about this. A Klitschko fight is a guaranteed loss for Valuev. What do you do, take a guaranteed loss for a decent payday, or live off the millions you already made and have a slightly better record? I wouldn't know what to do, so I'm trying to see it from Valuev's viewpoint. He don't really need the money.

No new meat is going to bring the payday Valuev can bring in this fight. If he'd lost badly to Haye it might be different, but a lot of people don't even think Haye won that fight. So Valuev - Vitali is still a big fight, maybe the biggest fight ever in Europe. They can probably do 100,000 ticket sales. Vitali would love that kind of payday and the chance to stop Valuev for the first time.

Valuev has never made 2.5 million for any fight, even when he was champion.
This would be one of the biggest gates ever in a European fight. And Valuev has a chance to win a legit belt. I think the fight will be made because it's just too big not to be made. It would be a spectacle for both fighters and would create tremendous excitement in Western and Eastern Europe.

It seems Don King wants the tv-rights for both the USA and Russia, even though Klitschko will be the promoter. Thats what prevents the bout, not the 2,5 million, because Valuev/King/Sauerland already have accepted that.

Klitschko might be right: King IS mad. Or maybe he is just greedy.

King doesn't care what Valuev gets for his fight. He would let Valuev fight for ten bucks, as long as King got his money. That is why he makes these outrageous tv demands.

The tv money wouldn't go to Valuev, it would go to King and Sauerland, copromoters of Valuev. It is their money that blocks the fight.

Valuev, if you are reading this (and I know you are in between bites of Cheerios) take the money. You'll never make this much again.

They still on this bull****. I thought we already did this. Klit needs to forget about that freak and fight some real competition not a circus act. Alexander Povetkin is out there and V.Klit can do his brother as well as fans a favor and fight Povetkin so we can rid of all this mandatories and we can move on to bigger fights (if there are any) like Haye or Adamek. If not Povetkin then he needs to fight David Tua.Why waste our time with this other bull****.
