Team Klitschko have given Nikolai Valuev a "take it or leave it" notice for a potential heavyweight fight with WBC champion Vitali Klitschko. For the last few weeks, the two parties have been negotiating but the money has been far apart. I'm so sick of this ****... And why is Vitali so hellbent on fighting Valuev anyway? This must be a huge event in Europe. Regardless, Klitschko's team might as well give Valuev the $4 million, since their negotiating skills are trash. How many times are you going to bend and revise your final offer?Comment

I wouldn't mind seeing Vitali do what Haye should've done. Retire the old hairy giant once and for all.Comment

You've gotta be kidding there, unless you believe Americans are the only people who exist -- this would be one of the biggest fights ever in Western and Eastern Europe (literally and figuratively): lotsa people live there, ya know. A fighter can get plenty rich now without American money. Vitali and Wlad both average between 9-12 million Euros a fight. Wlad has sold out a 50,000 seat stadium for Chambers. They are talking about Vitali and Valuev doing 100,000 in ticket sales, though where they would stage it, I don't know. But that's why Vitali isn't walking away: huge money to be made here.Comment
