If you cared about cleaning up the sport, you would go to the commission that oversees the ENTIRE sport so that it's consistent. The Olympics require the same kind of testing for everyone, regardless of the sport the athletes compete in. Track and field competitors take the same tests as swimmers. Why? Consistency and uniformity. Requesting testing for the Pac fight does nothing for the sport because it's only one fight. Again, Golden Boy said they wanted to clean up the sport just like Mayweather said, but none of their fighters except Mosley are undergoing random testing. Marquez isn't, Khan isn't, etc. When you truly want to make change, you want to create uniformity. Is Tim Bradley going to do random testing for his next fight? Doubt it. But Shaw was on the Manny hate wagon talking about if Pac wants to fight Bradley he wants random testing. So now all of sudden Bradley doesn't have to get tested because he's not fighting Pac. If Shaw was requesting testing for the right reasons, Bradley would be getting tested in all of his future fights, regardless of the opponent. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Ask yourself this, Is Mayweather requiring that all of the fighters on the PPV card get random testing done? If not, why not, since he supposedly wants to clean up the sport. All fighters should be going through the grinder, not just the stars.

I Manny didn't look suspect we probably wouldn't be having this discussion but yet and still it was overdue. It doesn't matter if it came from a dog the issue needed to be discussed and dealt with. If it was overdue then why wait for Manny before you make change?! When something is overdue you don't wait, you take action. Period. Go look back at all the forum discussions PRIOR to Mayweather Sr. made his accusations and you WON'T find a damn thing about steroids or Olympic testing and that's fact. No one was talking about this. You agree everyone should be tested. Cool. I have no issues with testing. BUT WHY ARE MOSLEY AND MAY GETTING TESTED BUT THE REST OF THE FIGHTERS ON THE CARD ARE NOT? oscar had a good jab going until floyd TOOK it away. and then the rest of the fight was ineffective flurries missing or being blocked. most of the punches play ed 'tag' with the air

Look, I'm not into e-beefing and all that garbage. But people are being delusional in thinking that a loser who said "legacy don't pay bills" gives a damn about the sport. This idiot has said that he is not only the GOAT, but bigger than boxing. Really? Mayweather has given nothing back to boxing. In fact, he's helped to erode it by constantly bringing up PPV sales when considering whether or not someone is a worthy opponent and the ****** masses are following suit. Floyd can't make 140 anymore than Cotto can. He's grown into his body. He looked better at 140 in my opinion but he can't make the weight so what's done is done. Really? So how did de la Hoya manage to do both? It's not a choice of one or the other. You can have both if you choose to do so. Jordan is the greatest baller of all time and is sitting pretty on his mountain of money. Kobe will be too when he retires. Boxing fans ******ly think taking top quality fights will hinder a fighter's ability to make money when it will in fact do the exact opposite. But whatever. It's his legacy. But him and his fans need to understand that's why he doesn't get the respect he desperately craves. He chose money over legacy instead of taking both when he had the chance. When he's not ranked as highly as he thinks he should be and everybody stops talking about him when he retires, maybe he'll have regrets. No ebeef here my dude I do the man thing when I need to but when you call me a groupie I gotta respond to that. If legacy wasn't important Floyd wouldnt be Floyd so that's clearly all slick talk. You have to be a special MF to be a pro boxer and a 5 division champ gotta have love for the game. I'm still not buying it. Floyd has beat several fighters that we're bigger than him in the ring. A good boxer can find a way to win. Floyd didn't knock him out and he didn't lean on him so how did his size give him the advantage? When Castillo came in the ring heavier than Floyd he tried to lean on him for his advantage. Did you see Floyd doing any of that? NO Floyd used his athletic ability to dodge all Marquez's shots and counter him. If being bigger in size gives you that kind of advantage than I agree with everything you said. If not you better rethink it.

of course floyd was far too athletic and fast for jmm to begin with..

but with floyd weighing 15-20 lbs heavier jmm couldnt hurt him, **** couldnt even buzz him.

jmm had nothing on his punches against floyds bigger frame, heavier weight and height.

therefore floyd could do what he pleased when he pleased to with just the weight and height advantages..

ever boxed before? if you have then you know that a dude with good buzz can keep you at bay and more methodical. a guy with nothing to keep you honest or hesitant has no chance
