Ronnie Shields and McGirt are no better than Cuellar imo, for a guy like Cotto.

Cottos camp dont really like McGirt, their second choince would be Shields
oh ok gotcha... im really looking forward to the results of a new trainer! hopefully they can iron out some of the kinks in cottos defense... im still amazed every time i hear cotto speak english in his interviews cuz he learned english so fast!!! is there a reason that the camp doesnt like mcgirt? and did they just not pick manny steward just cuz he went to foreman's camp or was he never really an option? thanks a lot bro...

As stubborn as cotto is , it's good to hear that he is at least entertaining the thought of getting another trainer.

They dont like, McGirt, because A Cotto's style doesnt go along McGirt style of traning and B what he did in the Malignaggi vs Hatton fight. He panics sometime.

Steward was never a option. Steward like to talk hard to his fighters and is all about him instead of the fighter. Cotto would probably get into a fight with steward to.
