If they were to fight, Cotto gives him his first KO loss. But thats not really fair as he is way smaller. Both are great fighters, my favourite and my third favourite infact. Not much in it p4p IMO both at their best i mean, but i think id give the thinnest of thin edges to Marquez

ugh.. i hate saying it but it is Marquez. although the fight against Mosley puts cotto not that far from him skillwise. but still Marquez, especially when u look at how accurate he punches..



especially that ending uppercut.. wow.

Cotto would kick his ass though at 140. He's a physically stronger fighter.

Marquez is the better all round fighter and quite clearly actually.

woahh, there is no doubt that JMM has the better chin, and is the smarter fighter, much better with breaking down an offensive fighter. I mean if you're talking about JMM above 135 than yeah cotto is way better but that's not fair cause JMM is best at 126-135 for the prime years of his career. I think its a tough comparison , too close to call since they are at different weights. If they were the same weight I think it would be a great fight, very close, no KO, probably a SD.
