People disregard Cotto's cut in that fight, as if that had nothing to do with Cotto's performance fighting with that for 9 and a half rounds.

Clottey isn't technically superior to Cotto. He has better defense. That is it in terms of technical skills.
He is also more accurate, has better hand speed, and places his shots better.

Don't think he's more accurate or places his shots better. Ad accuracy can be relative. I mean, Clottey hardly throws any punches so yea, his "stats" might be of a higher percentage, but Cotto throws more and is also very accurate. Or at least he has been....he's a totally different fighter pre and post Margarito. And I don't really think speed would qualify as a "skill". That's just a god given gift.

Did you watch that fight? Clottey definitely did not get beat up by Cotto. Had he been more active especially in the championship rds that would have been an easy dominating performance for clottey. Other than the flash knockdown in the first Clottey never looked like he was the least bit phased by Cotto's punching. I still don't know why he didn't pull off that fight.

Cotto is my second favorite fighter, but he DID NOT "beat up" Clottey. Josh didnt have a mark on him after that fight, and the decision easily could have gone the other way. Clottey has never been "beat up", and all four of his losses were questionable.

Yea, Arum is a jackass. Don't talk about Cotto like that. Cotto did a lot for Arum and Top Rank. Clottey has a better defense and doesn't take as much punishment. Cotto is the better fighter.

Again, Bob Arum will say anything, maybe just maybe Cotto is more offensive than Clottey and open himself up more so he does get hit more. Two different styles to compare uncle Bob. If you are defense minded of course you gonna last more instead of punching you are gonna be blocking.

In the end of the fight he was, he admitted to be cautious of Cotto's power cause it was still there in the end of the fight. Sounded like he didn't want to get hit anymore on his arms

Joshua only has 3 loses and has been competitive in all 3

Arum will say anything to sell a fight the man is an utter ****! IMO no doubt he'll contradict this in the future when promoting a cotto fight.
