It won't come from one punch obviously. It will come from an accumulation of punches. I'm 200% positive that Floyd Mayweather could have knocked Juan Marquez out in ten rounds if he really pressed for it.

Just like the Baldomir fight, Floyd didn't press for the KO because of the risk involved. The risk of bigger paydays against Shane and Manny were simply too much to gamble. Floyd just played it safe and STILL beat every ounce of man out of JMM.

When Floyd fights Shane, it will be a different ball game. Floyd will put more on the line this time like he did against Chico, Gatti and even Hatton. This is a fight Floyd has wanted since 1999.

Shane Mosley fights with EGO first, intelligence second. That kind of mentality plays right into the hands of a master thinker like Floyd.

The jab will be key. I see Floyd unloading on Shane in the latter rounds. Jabs, lead lefts, straight rights, etc... Remember, Shane has good footwork, but he rarely moves his head and a lot of the time he stays in punching range while not punching.

If Shane wins a round after the 5th I'll be shocked. Put it like this: after this fight I don't even think the *******s will be pushing for a Mayweather-Pac fight anymore.
Theres always dreamers like you who try to talk rationally about Mayweather to hide the nuthuggery. Floyd ain't knocking Shane out, i'm sorry. Reality check.

Good lord. You really are delusional. You say there was risk in the Baldomir fight to go for the knockout, where was the risk in trying to KO a much smaller fighter. I'm 0% positive he could've ko'ed Marquez, it's because HE DIDN'T. It's a competitive fight, not a sparring match. He didn't even punish Marquez THAT MUCH. That's a fight we learned nothing from, you can't even watch that fight to see how Floyd really is because Marquez is so small.

Mosley would've KO'ed Baldomir just like he did Margarito. Mayweather would've won a boring decision agains Margarito.

I don't see it happening. Mosley has too much of a good chin.

and what does pac have to do with this? are you on drugs?
And I already answered that question in my INITIAL post. Shane represents one of the big money fights that Floyd came back for. I'm not saying Floyd is gonna fight Shane toe-to-toe for the entire fight. That'd be dumb. However, once he starts timing Mosley's rhythm, the domination will begin (just like every other floyd fight except for the first castillo fight).

Lets just say you don't analyze the fights the way I do. I'm rarely surprised by outcomes in boxing because I pay attention. I'm not perfect, but I pay attention to detail.

Floyd KO'ing Mosley seems very obvious to me.

              1. Shane has limited head movement.

              2. Shane is a limited thinker. He tries to beat fighters at their own game instead of using his own unique style. Shane is a legendary sparring partner because he's such a good mimic.

              3. Shane is 39 years old. I doubt he can stand up to the amount of clean shots he's going to eat from Mayweather for 12 rounds.

              4. Shane hasn't fought since Jan '09.

              5. Shane won't be able to use PEDS, so his true stamina will be tested.

              6. Last and not least, Floyd is better than Shane in damn near every department.

All threads of these kinds will be bumped May 1st, 10:30PM PST. If Mayweather can knock out Mosley who's never been put out like that, people are still going to try and discredit him because Mosley is "old", yet Hopkins is 44.

The only thing I agree with his Shane not winning a round after the fifth. I have been let down too many times to think Floyd is knocking anyone out.

The same Floyd that couldn't stop Corley, Sosa, Marquez, Judah, etc, that Floyd? That has 5 KO/TKOs in his 13 fights above 130?

Is now going to stop Mosley, a guy who's been in with much bigger punchers than Floyd and never been stopped?

Mosley has way too good of a chin. Also i dont picture Mayweather even attempting a KO.
