Judges like Gale Von Hoy are a good reason to be weary of Texas. Both sides said they felt the fight should be in Vegas anyway including Pac and Roach. Texans was something Aurm was interested in but it wasn't going to happen for that particular fight.

two reasons:
1.) Texas does not allowed the use of pain killer(Xylocaine). They say it's illegal because you cannot feel any pain when you punch. Floyd used it every fight. That is Floyd source of power.

2.) In Nevada where Floyd leaves, In terms of taxes Floyd will not pay any taxes if he fights in his own place.

actually on point number 1, Ken Kizer has told a number of people xylocaine is not allowed to be used the day of a fight so you are 100% wrong on that point

point 2 is a big yes. However, you should know that Manny's own promoter uses that same thinking for Manny as well and that is the reason why the Cotto fight was in Nevada NOT NY. NY taxes people known as outside contractors (people working in the state who are not residents) in addition to state and city taxes.

****** thread, sorry, no offense, you should just read the headline on here every once in a while. apparently, he uses xylocaine , which happens to be illegal in every state except nevada, apparently. I am not gonna accuse him cause i really dont know the facts only what has come up on this site. i have not found anything on if xylocaine is actually illegal though. I don't want to accuse floyd based on rumours cause than i would be like the mayweather family and all the *****'s that do the same with manny. But it wouldn't surprise me if xylocaine was the reason for not wanting to fight in dallas, why wouldn't someone want to fight in the biggest stadium in the US and possibly in front of 80,000.
