Read the article above it is legal for outside the ring usage. NO state allows in ring usage. They test to make sure nobody uses it in the ring.

In a conversation that I had with Keith Kizer, about the use of Xylocaine in the state of Nevada, Keith said that because “It is not a prohibited substance under WADA or USADA”; it’s not banned by the State Athletic Commission. However, Keith Kizer noted that the commission has added some stipulations to the use of Xylocaine.

“We don’t want fighters to use it on fight day. We make sure they have full physicals to check for this. They will be told to stop doing this from the weigh-in through the fight. Fighters must only take Tylenol or ice for any pain.”

Funny how people keep saying that xylo is banned in Texas but I have YET to see PROOF of that.

Someone please show proof that it is banned is ALL states except Nevada please.

xylocaine isn't allowed in texas that's why floyd doesn't want it there, without his xylocaine floyd is just a mediocre fighter. They're so hype in texas because it can hold more than a 100,00 audience and pac-floyd could be the highest live attendance in the history of boxing, think about it.

Perhaps you can't read but it is legal everywhere outside the ring. And Texas doesn't test for PED's so that's definately not the case. Pac and Clottey did ZERO testing for their fight so WTF are you talking about LOL!

lol people took that xylocaine thing to far thats doesn't even have **** to do with it. Vegas offered more money to hold the fight and Pacquiao himself said he would rather fight in Vegas than Dallas. So this whole xylocaine is why Floyd didn't want to fight in Dallas is false. Niether one of them wanted the fight in Texas both fighters wanted the fight Vegas

It's funny but I've yet to see proof of Xylocaine being banned in everywhere but NV. But what do you expect from a *******?
