Kimob actually choked out Ray Mercer in an exhibition bout and currently training at ATT to learn grappling.

Ray Mercer said that they had agreed that they wouldn't take the fight to the ground, so he was caught off guard when Kimbo immediately went for the takedown.

I hope an mma fighter thinks they can slip a right hand through before taking Toney down. They'll be catching a counter right and going to sleep.

Toney is shot and has some pretty lazy footwork nowadays, so he's gonna have to end it before they take it to the ground.

It's very easy to make an excuse for an out of shape near 50 year old man who was there to take part in a "worked" contest.Not so much for a former ufc champion in his early 30's who got knocked out cold in under ten seconds.

Sylvia agreed to box Mercer because he's a dum****, and ****ty striker to begin with, everyone knew he was going to get tooled if he decided to stand.

So really that fight isn't an indicator of anything relating to boxing being better than MMA. It's an indicator of a ****ty striker deciding to stand-up with a good boxer, instead of taking him down where he'd certainly be tooled in a matter of seconds.
