This question shouldn't have to be asked! And what's even more pathetic is this,
Pacquiao fighting oscar at welterweight:

Pacquiao fought the better of Hatton as it was for the Lineal Title of Hatton's True weight.
Pac fought DLH where he was fighting at 130 at that time and had to moved up 3 divisions and dominate him.
Pac fought better because if Pac wins via Split Decision you call say the same thing that DLH is not shot.. Pac ****s on Floyd heavily and the only difference is Pac goes for the kill, Floyd goes for the marathon running from his opponent.
Look at things in their proper perspective.
Hatton was unbeaten when he fought Mayweather. Floyd was the man at 47, he wasn't going to back down to 40 fight Hatton. When he was at 40, Hatton and his team said they were not ready for that fight. His trainer also said, they had no problem fighting at 147 because Floyd was not that "big" at that weight. Therefore, Hatton had to move up to fight Floyd for the title. Just as Floyd had to move up to 54 to fight for Oscar's title.
Likewise, Manny was the challenger when he faced Hatton, so OF COURSE he was going to fight Hatton at 140.
Do you see the trend?Comment
