May 19, 2005 - Sources from HBO have informed **********.com that Golden Boy Promotions has received its September 17 PPV date. Oscar De La Hoya and junior featherweight king Marco Antonio Barrera will each see action on the show. Barrera is expected to face what we've been informed will be an "A+ opponent", while De La Hoya returns at 150 pounds in his first fight back since losing to pound for pound king Bernard Hopkins last September. Opponents have yet to be solidified.

Oscar at 150lbs?... D'you know if it's 147lbs or 154lbs?... Coz' personally I'm not sure Oscar could get back down to 147lbs. He's looking a bit podgey these days and it's been about 3-4yrs since he fought at Welterweight.Comment

haha yeah.Originally posted by ottoevansImagine if its Barrera vs. Pacman and Oscar vs. Judah. Plus u add Oscar Larios and Lazcano and a 4round match with Abner mares. It would be the greatest PPV card ever (on paper)
i think trinidad coming out of retirement to fight delahoya is more likely
