In our village, a young man who believe to have the "agimat" was killed by his two older brothers due to land dispute. The belief is only good people will be bestowed with "agimat". But if that good person becomes bad, the "agimat" will have no effect on him.

These really sounds crazy but there are also beliefs of our grand old man that are true. An example is using herbs, oil from snakes, etc. as treatment - even though without their own scientific study before. A good example for herb is when you have an amoeba, just drink a decoction of guava leaves and your amoeba will gone - PROVEN AND TESTED!

i dunno the exact name of where they are from but i know her mom is from the city & her dad is from those little islands. Amigat from what her dad tells me is just a buncha superstitions & philippine witch craft.
