Cotto isnt some bum he beat up on, he's a legit top WW. Before Pac fought him there was very little between him and Mosley at the top of the WW rankings, so yes the manner of the victory is important.

That Cotto was not the same Cotto, everyone knows it, Roach admits it. Mayweather is fighting the tougher opponent, #1 WW, and at the official weight. The manner of victory is irrelevant. A decision win is a decision win. Mosley is the tougher opponent.
