For me.. It gotta be when he kocked griffin on his ass the first seconds of their 2nd fight. Griffin flewing to the other end of the ring only to be kocked the **** out. The best and most focused I've ever seen Roy.

I like Roy but his knockout losses were some of the funniest moment in boxing. It's cool to see the bully getting humiliated by guys like Milk dude, Glen "the mason" Johnson, Calslappy or Danny "the legend" Green.

I love the way he always makes excuses after his fights too: " he had plaster" lol, i was tired, the cut made me lose the fight,etc..
Roy gets KOed fight after fight , still thinks he can whoop everybody whereas we all know even Sakio Bika could KO him at this point.

Never said anyone used plaster.. never used being tired as an excuse... said the cut effected him... did it not?

And thats a sign of someone who holds his confidence regardless.

i am by no means a jones JR hater... but one of my favourite jones JR moments was the entire calzaghe fight..... he showed tremendous heart by hanging in there even though he got beat to a bloody mess and humiliated.....another favourite of mine is the glenn kelly ko...

Yeah when the DR checked his eye in the 8th or 9th, he could have easily said he couldnt see, and gotten out of the fight... but he told them don't stop the fight.

The Telesco bout is my personal fave. That and the Thomas Tate KO. Two guys who talked loads of smack beforehand and Jones fought as if he was highly motivated.

Yeah, I remember (if you can catch some of Jones' old fights) that Telesco used to have his people holding up signs ringside saying, "Roy Jones is scared to fight David Telesco." So when Rochigianni pulled out, what do you know, Jones decided for Telesco. Fight is too hilarious to this day.
