I'd say he's prone to shut down mentally.
In the PAC fight he had a pretty good start early then as PAC knocked him down and started landing at will he was starting to hesistate to throw punches and retreat
I remember thinking "he's really mentally weak"
I think him not really finding an answer to margs and pacs onslaught just put him on shut down mode

People on this board think if you take a couple losses that you're done.

Meanwhile Shane Mosley (who has 5 losses) is fighting Floyd Mayweather May 1st. Those same people ****ting on Cotto would've said the same about Mosley after he lost to Vernon the 2nd time.

Fact is, nobody knows the future of a fighter but the fighters themselves. As for Cotto, I think we've seen his best days, but calling him shot is quite a stretch.
