First and foremost, he needs a new trainer.

Me being a Cotto fan since day one of his debut.. I must say that its true.. He isn't the same.

Starting from the Torres fight IMO.. He was so confident back then, after that fight.. He just wasnt the same anymore. When he fought Judah (Another guy with power) after that.. You can really see how Cotto thought twice about coming in because he always got tagged. Cotto would try to box, but was forced to taken more punishment that he should have taken. The Cotto of the early days are gone, and I must admit after the Marg loss. Cotto has changed. As if he is not confident in his power anymore.. Yea he hits hard, but has never been a 1 punch KO guy. He breaks you down, and I also noticed that Cotto was known as a Body puncher and I haven't seen him use it as effectively as he did in the Torres fight. He did use it in the Branco fight, but he was a sitting duck. Someone with movement and skill would'nt have let Cotto do it anymore.. This is just what I think.

Cotto isn't the same anymore. He has the money now, and he will just want to fight for checks now, and will soon retire. I wish him the best, since he is the first fighter that I've watched since his Debut in 2001.

You don't take two beatings like Cotto did against Margarito and Pacquiao without losing something in the process. He may not be done, but he'll never be the guy we saw against Mosley and Judah when he first got to welterweight again.

Cotto's next fight will tell his story. I think if he picks up the strap, then he could make a pretty good run @ 154 until Floyd gets there or Kirkland gets out of jail. Whatever comes 1st.

He's still there imo. Just need a good trainer and with good discipline. His only legitimate lose imo was with the p4p number 1 and no shame on that. A guy with that power and intelligence can still beat any top fighter at 147-154.

He'll beat Foreman by the way.

I dunno if I'd call him shot, but he's been in war after war, suffered 2 brutal beatings at least one (and possibly both) questionable in nature. Has fought pretty much everybody who was good at his weight...I mean come on...he can't be said to be in his prime at this point.

Of course he's shot. Pacquiao beat him. Also Floyd will be shot when Manny beats him. lololol.
