Everybody forgets that Khan managed to get up once against Prescott, and he is a mammoth puncher at lightweight, and he hit Khan with two of the cleanest hooks you will ever see. Apart from Prescott he has always got up after being hurt and won the fight. So, I doubt Khan can be straight up KO'd by anybody with a KO ratio less than 60%.

Chins don't make you get up from the canvas...hearts do.
Prescott isn't a big puncher, i've watched a few of his fights and he don't look heavy handed at all.

It doesn't. On this forum, 1 KO loss = bad chin. 1 bad performance = overrated. 1 loss = exposed. Just take it with a grain of salt.

But you also have to consider the precision of the hook. Amir was coming up with his head (by missing the hook) and Breidis put all his weight in the hook and **** !! like a collision of two trains **** !!

To be honest Prescott is not that big of a puncher from what I have seen and his ko% is more a product of opposition.

Kahn has alot of things going for him but he will end up like Holt eventually for the same reason Holt ended up the way he did even if he does have a good run.....
It's 'Khan' not 'Kahn' !! Amir is no German !!

But Khan is a very good boxer man, especially since joining Roach. Those who say you cant be a good boxer with a glass chin, look at Roy Jones.
LOL Amir wasnt hurt by the knockdowns of Limond and Gomez. Limond kinda pushed him and brought him off balance. Amir came straight up after the Gomez knockdown. Remember, Gomez was the same guy that knocked Alex Arthur out.

if it was somone getting ko'd by fighters with average power, now that'd be different
Don't confuse what you are saying with "people who get K.O.ed by power punchers and as a result are chinny for the rest of there careers".

After Vargas fought trinidad he was chinny. Before he fought trinidad he had never been down in his career and he had beaten Ike cortez and winky wright by then.

After you get knocked out once, you are never the same. So people become chinny. Every knockout is a short circuit of the brain...a concussion. Once you get one you start getting them easier and easier. So pretty much once you get knocked out, your ability to take a punch drops and you become chinny.

The punches he landed on Khan were big punches. Any boxer can get knocked out if they get caught cold which is what happened to Khan. He got smacked hard whilst he was unprepared.

That being said, he had a poor chin, some of the shots that dropped him in previous fights highlighted that, the Prescott fight showed that he had a poor defence.

I don't know how his chin holds at 140lb it hasn't been tested.
