Why does getting ko'd by punchers = glass chin?

isn't that why they are called punchers? because they can ko people with solid chins?

if it was somone getting ko'd by fighters with average power, now that'd be different

I agree. On top of that people sometimes think that if you get knocked down by someone with little power you got a glass chin as well. Oscar De La Hoya got knocked down alot in the beginning of his pro career but we all know now that he has a granite chin. It's more of a balance problem.

Is that what happened to Kahn, he was knocked off balance?

To be honest Prescott is not that big of a puncher from what I have seen and his ko% is more a product of opposition.

Kahn has alot of things going for him but he will end up like Holt eventually for the same reason Holt ended up the way he did even if he does have a good run.....

Come on man, Khan got floored by willie limmond and Michael Gomez, not cuz of his balance but because he was hurt.

But Khan is a very good boxer man, especially since joining Roach. Those who say you cant be a good boxer with a glass chin, look at Roy Jones.

Khan has a poor chin, but that was probably due to fighting at 135. He is a lot stronger at 140 and didn't blink when Kotelnik hit him. Even though Kotelnik isn't a big puncher Khan has been put down by lesser fighters before.

Everybody forgets that Khan managed to get up once against Prescott, and he is a mammoth puncher at lightweight, and he hit Khan with two of the cleanest hooks you will ever see. Apart from Prescott he has always got up after being hurt and won the fight. So, I doubt Khan can be straight up KO'd by anybody with a KO ratio less than 60%.

Chins don't make you get up from the canvas...hearts do.

Amira still got a questionable chin. We still don't know if Prescott hit him cleanly on his button or if Amira just can't take one.

                Khan/Magnigna......Khan/Manigagg.......Khan/Malinig......aah, **** it, Amira/Paulie will be interesting!
