Pascal is WBC mandatory, he didn't want to pass that up, it's unfortunate that Pascal is injured. Dawson doesn't want to fight Cloud because he has the IBF strap, now that Johnson is IBF eliminator, if Dawson were to beat Cloud he would have to fight Glen Johnson for a third time.

What the IBF should of done was make the winner of Dawson-Johnson II IBF eliminator then we would of seen Dawson vs Cloud.

Dawson doesn't want to fight Cloud right now and for good reason, and a lot of that blame goes to the IBF.

If Dawson thought he was confident of beating the guy he'd be willing to fight him in April when HBO offered that date to him even after Hopkins refused to fight Dawson. Which in turn means that he only wants one payday instead of two. Are you trying to tell me he's not capable of fighting Tavoris Cloud in April and then Jean Pascal in the fall?

Until about a month ago, Dawson-Pascal was supposed to happen in June or July, not in the fall.

Pascal is ranked in the top 5 ahead of Cloud and Dawson is going to Montreal to fight him.

26 wins and only 15 KOs makes you not a hard puncher unless your opposition is so good and durable that that's the reason why your KO record isn't high. 20-0 18 KOs with one coming against a guy who had never even been knocked down even if the stoppage you got was the standing variety means that your power is more than likely legit. I'm willing to give Dawson some time to make this fight happen because I understand Pascal might make him some money. But it aint like my blood is pumping for that fight, and I don't think Pascal is better than Cloud either.
