i havn't seen the fight but it looks like romero is bent on knocking mayol out by all means.

maybe at the instruction of his corner, because mayol is known for his headbutting ability.

this is pre-empting mayol's headbutting spree.

but i believe mayol will knock out romero in a rematch... anywhere but mexico.
