If he fights Floyd and lose convincingly, that will ruin his rep and tarnish his legacy, so why take a risk? He's running for Congress, so that could be a good time to retire.
so you don't want the fight to happen because you don't want him to lose. lmao....

Yes, all fights now are just leading up to the Ultimate battle.

It was always going to happen just not in March that's all.

You're crazy, of course I'm Dying to see them fight!! I wanna see who's better.

When I say Pac taking risk...I'll give you an example: Let's say he lost, convincingly, then FLoyd still continue talking crap telling fans that Pac was overhype all these times, and it was prob of roids that he beat previous oponents..that can tarnish Pac's accomplishments and critics can questioning Pac. Yeah, I'm stretching it, but hey anything can happen right?

Sure I'd love them to fight, I don't care who wins, I like both fighters. All I'm sayings is that Pac (or even Floyd) doesn't care about what we fans want, and only what they want. Otherwise he would've taken the OST already.

I disagree. Sure Pac has a legacy now, but he would easily be in top 10 greatest of all time if he beat Mayweather. He has more to lose than Mayweather, but think about it like this. If Pac beats Mayweather, what can the critics and Pac haters say after that? Same thing if Mayweather beats Pac. There will always be haters, but criticism will be nothing more than subjective and not have much of a foundation anymore.

There would less talk of Mayweather being an overrated ducker if he wins. And if Pac wins, no more talk of him avoiding slick, African-American fighters, fighting older guys, etc. Plus the steroid BS would be put to rest, win or lose.

I only think it will happen if PBF sees some kind of deterioration in Pacs performance.

So if Pac fights on long enough to dip slightly, PBF will be right in there, even without olympic testing. PBF just needs to see Pac lose a little ability before he wants any of it.

That's the thing, it doesn't matter who wins, there will always be haters from both ends, so we're back to square one. The egoes from both fighters are just too strong that both are already making excuses: Floyd talking about getting more share if he beats Pac in PPV, and Pac already talking about not needing Floyd.

Perhaps the only way these two will fight is if both loses their upcoming fight.

I think it will happen. They both need to smurf on the same page. I think the 14 day smurf-off for the blood tests is as good as it smurfs. imo.

You have a point. But I think both guys have more to lose if they don't fight each other. There will always be a question mark on both fighter's careers. I also think there will a public backlash towards both of them.

They do have huge egos and I am sure they both believe the other guy needs the other more. If one of them loses, I think the fight will definitely not happen. Pac won't have much to prove if Mosley beat Mayweather. If Clottey beats Pac, he (Pac) loses some marketability and Mayweather won't make as much money fighting him unless he asks for an even bigger share, which Pac and Arum would never agree to.
