That is why I said winner take all. Oscar wins Margarito doesn't get paid and can never be in the U.S again... But, if Margarito wins Oscar doesn't get paid and has to leave the U.S forever and I am also counting Puerto Rico...

Clearly the US is doing something wrong and boxing is a fringe sport here.
tv killed boxing in the u.s.

they just didn't want to spend money on it plus they didn't like the unpredictability of boxing's ratings and length.

they'd rather spend practically no money on crap reality tv shows.

The total amount of time that he used plaster is irrelevant. What is relevant is that he definitely didn't have them in the Mosley fight and he looked terrible. And I'm not completely basing it off of what Mosley did to him.

Why don't they do the same in Germany then? Are you saying Germans aren't simple minded idiots like 80% of Americans?

I think it is relevan since in his whole career he showed the power to be a threat... It just that Shane was just a different type of beast. Unless you think he somehow fooled everybody in his whole career by using plaster in every single one of his pro fights. The man was a threat... That/this version of Oscar would get destroyed by Margarito without plaster...

Margarito's whole career has nothing to do with how he is now. He's not a younger, prime version of himself, anymore.

The only fight that we can safely confirm he did not use plaster in was in his last fight against Mosley. And Mosley being a "beast" has nothing to do with it. Forget Mosley and just look at how Margarito fought alone.

He's not a good technical fighter and his only weapons were his punching power, his chin and his never-go-down attitude. Take away the punching power (plaster) and you have a technically-lacking fighter with no power. He may have the heart and the chin, but without technical skills and/or power, he's nothing against the likes of even a past-prime DLH.

What makes you think he won't have the power? See that is where you lose me... Are you saying it just cuz he didn't hurt Shane? That is cuz Shane is totally different. Shane has a better chin then Oscar, more of a thick coat then, Shane can take punches better than Oscar... Margarito has the power look at what he did to Sergio Martinez, Antonio Diaz, Six Heads Lewis, Manuel Gomez, Sebastian Lujan, and the first Kermit Cintron fight... All the ones in the bold were Ring Magazine top 10 WWs at the time. And, all of them were before he even lost to Paul Williams. He has showed power throughout his whole career. Again that is why I asked when do you believe if started using plaster? Because, I find it hard to believe that this man fooled everybody, all the commissions, all the trainers, in every single fight that he had....

In his three previous fights, it looked as if he had amazing power and he looked unstoppable. He was then caught with plaster in his wraps, before his last fight. The plaster was removed. He didn't hurt his opponent once. It doesn't take a genius to realize that his power was from the plaster. It does take a blind fan-boy to ignore common sense, however.

Answer me this: why would he try and use plaster against an old, past his prime fighter like Mosley, but not against a young, prime version of Cotto and/or Cintron.
