Marco beat the No. 1 SFW in Erik Morales, unified some more belts, fought No. 1 contenders and only lost to JMM & Pac @130...
Na JOMs, both of those guys were at their best at 122 and 126, they entered 130 due to the fact that they outgrew their feather frames, both of their knockout power and general effectiveness began a steady decline at 130.

Thats why it was so shocking that morales upset pacquiao. and im not saying that in some ******ed mayweather sr way, it was just that morales was on his way out and pac was the 2nd coming IMO.

I understand your point bro and have to somewhat agree that they were at their best/peak at 122-126, but that does not mean they were not great anymore @130, imho their accomplishment @ sfw speak for themselves ...

In addition to that i would say Erik in his 2 fights at LW is what we can consider as "good" only fighter, considering that a lot thought that he beat David Diaz...

no...Morales prime was at 122 and I actually have him as the greatest fighter ever at that weight (most people say gomez). I say Barrera's best weight was at 126 although he did put alot of work in at 122.

FWIW...just a little nugget...when Floyd was at 130 and Morales was at 122...Erik said he was willing to go up to 128 to face Floyd. I forgot the particulars, but for some reason it never happened. I think it was just threw out there and nothing was seriously discussed.

Because no one was gonna move up to fight a very dangerous unknown Mayweather.

Mayweather was calling out Hamed (I think Morales too) when he was at 130 and they were at 126. I think he was willing to move down to 126 to fight them too.

Mayweather said he could go no lower than 128. Naz had a fight plan with hbo, was their cash cow, and had so many fighter chasing him. It made no sense for him to go up in weight to face Mayweather and when you consider he was only 5'3" or 5'4" it's even more ridiculous.

Exactly my point. You just don't want to say it in the words I said it in, so you don't compliment Mayweather.

Of course it didn't make financial sense to move up to fight a very dangerous, unknown Mayweather. Even though he pretty much cleaned out 126, it made more sense to wait for Morales and Barrera.

Pacquiao is 5'6'' at the top of 147, Bradley is 5'5'' at 140, so don't bring height into this.

No one was willing to move up to fight him.

I think bradley is around 5'6-5'7.

Maybe I used the term too loosely. They won't be remembered as two of the best 130 pounders is what I'm saying, while Floyd will be. 122-126 is where they rank high.

they may not be the best @130 but i think they still rank high @SFW easy top 20 ...

imho now that both of their careers are over what they did at 130 is part of and complete their greatness...
