I didnt know that Gans was the first African-American champ. When I clicked on Shadows link and seen what it was the first thing out my mouth was oh I seen this video before. Then I was just in a trance watching him. I had a paper in Highschool on him for black history month.

Apparantly to Cixthree the only slick fighters are African American... Sasakul is Asian(Thailand) he don't fit the bill for slick fighters...

Sweat Pea, Ray leonard, and almost all the modern "slick" fighters took apart of willie's game an implemented in theirs. They have all have stated this in several interviews and there have been documentaries and numerous boxing insiders who co-signed this. Anyone who knows anything knows Pep was the "father" of this slick style of boxing.

I already said if you think he influenced Leonard, Nell even Floyd. Fine. I agree.

But if you were saying he invented "slick" boxing. I dont agree with that. After that you said he invented the slick style altogether and that nobody was doing it before Pep which is not true. Me being a big supporter of Floyd and not being a fan of Pac doesnt make me a less credible poster. Thats why when I see Jro on I usually start some **** with him because he knows about the sport.
