Floyd fought Judah after losing to Baldomir. Judah was still a good fighter and so was MoralesComment

No one on this board thinks Floyd will be outboxed for 12 rounds.
Most say he will lose to pressure fighters. Guess what hes fought PLENTY.Comment

pacquiao didn't move to arum 'til 2006.
tim austin was at 118 at the time pac was at 122-126. maybe tim could have moved up. i doubt pac could move down to 118.
when could have pac fought mark johnson? at flyweight? 115? pac was at 122 by the time he started fighting in america.
junior jones last fight was at 130 and it was a year before pac even had moved up to 126 let alone 130.Comment

Cotto and Marg were atleast the same money as Hatton. Hatton did not have an PPV in the US and was not that famous in the US.
Cotto and Marg would have done more sales IMO.
Then his excuse is that they don't have a following.
Personally, I think he would have beaten both, but they were very dangerous. Marg had a solid chin and would not respect Floyd's punches and hit Floyd, but lsot to a wide UD.
Cotto just dealt with Judah and Mosely, and was a scary fighter at anyone at 147 IMO. He had enough of everything to give Floyd the biggest trouble at 147.
Floyd chose to negotiate a fight with Oscar again after beating Oscar in one of the most boring fights for such a huge event.
That's why I said I believe Arum on this. I have seen Floyd not fight the ebst WW's until now. I just hope Mosely does not break up.
I already stated that he talked for Pac but not for with Cotto and Marg, he chose to retire and not fight Oscar again.
That being said, how would he kow how it would go? Or he wouldn't waste his time trying to make the fight.
It can be said #if Pac accepted the tests there would be a fight, but if Floyd di not demand them, then there would also be a fight.Comment

And how would Pac deal with a tall, quick, straight punching southpaw? Now if it became a matter of heart, I would say Pac wins, but I wouldn't go on a limb and say Pac beats a prime Smoke at 126.Comment

You not looking at the time frame at all... Junior Jones and Pac were never in the same weight-class... Pac was never in the same weight-class with Austing... They probably after Austin fell off but again he was not legitimite opponent... Pacquiao was never a ligitimate opponent for too sharp... So that fight could of never happened. And, by the time Pac won the lineal title and became a legitimate opponent for Johnson. Too Sharp was already out of the weight-class... Will Grigsby was another... He was not a legitimate opponet... And, when Pac the lineal title Grigsby was not in his weight-class... I guess you can really reach out, I mean really reach and say that skipped not one weight-class but two weight-classes to avoid Johnson and Austin... But, that is really reaching... And, Gainer was not a legitimate opponent by the time Pac got to 126...Comment

My bad.
The way to beat Floyd is pressure ofcourse, but you need more than that. You need to have atleast equal physical ability.
Someone like Castillo was close. Floyd hasn't fought someone at WW that had it in them to beat him.
It is also the case that Pressure fighters who do not bring smart pressure easily look bad.
Floyd has quick legs and you need to match him going forward as he goes lateral or backwards. Baldomir just did not have it.Comment
