I disgree with this also I think Casamayor will give Castillo a hell of a fight. I also think people are underestimating Casamayor in this fight.

I repsect your opinion however FLoyd Mayweather although lightning quick and sort of a showman in the ring was on his bicycle in both fights which is unlike him. I am not saying JL won the second fight by any means...however Floyd is not generally a runner, he had to be on his bicycle in the rematch which tells me it was a lot more difficult than any other fight he was ever in. JL certainly was discouraged in the second fight but I believe that was cause Floyd was like "Cougar" in Top Gun....not engaging.

We will see on Saturday night if JL is still as good as I think he is....I will say this if Casamyor looks anything like he did in his last fight against Daniel Seda he is in big trouble.

I agree he was moving more because he knew the way Castillo would beat him or at least have a chance to beat him would be to stand in there the way he did the first fight. He made the necessary adjustments in the second fight and won easy in my opinion. Casamayor didn't look great in his last fight but he still won. I think he will be on top of his game Saturday and give Castillo a tougher than expected fight.

I can't argue with that! I would love to see Joel beat up though, I really would. It is hard to say what Casamyor will show up...usually he never fights the first five rounds of the fight, then he turns it on and dominates...HE chose to fight early against Seda an then turn it off the second half of the fight...against Corrales the first time he was ready at the beginning as well...most other fights he turns it on late-he is tough to figure out...he will have to be ready from the opening bell and fight a complete fight if he is too win, this is not Acelino Freitas he is fighting.

Well you have to remember Castillo takes about 3 or 4 rounds to get going as well. In fact he even said it may take him 4 rounds to adjust to Casamayor's style in one of those conference calls. I think this is better suited for Casamayor's boxing style which I expect him to use more than try and go toe to toe with Castillo.

I think alot of people thought Floyd lost the first fight just because they werent use to seeing Floyd get hit that much, and half the people dont like him anyway and would love to see him get his ass kicked. If he was a guy you never heard of you wouldve thought he did enough to beat Castillo. I never thought people gave Floyd enough credit for beating this guy. Alot of people say Floyd has faught good comp but no huge name, and when they talk about his big fights they always talk about Chico. I saw a thread recently asking if Castillo wins this fight with Cassamora does he deserve to be put on the #for# list. Then I see that G. Leon doesnt even have him in the top 20 #for#. I started wondering how come this guy alway's get's overlooked, how come this guy get's no respect, and what does this guy have to do to prove to people that he is one of the best in the world. I have had this guy in my top 10 since the Mayweather fights. Stevie Johnston was the best guy out their and this guy beat him twice in his prime. Then when people thought that he was starting to lose it and Lazcano was killing people everyone was saying this is the end for Jose. The only thing Jose does is goes out and put's a beating on this guy like he was hitting a penyada. Everyone alway's talking about how tough Morales and Gatti are but this guy is like a bull. He comes straight at you all night long eating and giving. Now his record isnt perfect but what he has done the last few years have been incredible. This guy looks just like, and fights just like a 2004 Chaves. Now dont get me wrong about the respect thing because we do talk about him, but we dont talk about him when it comes to big time or #for# fighters. What the hell has either Marquez ever done to be ahead of Castillo on the list. It makes me sick when they put people who keep losing like Oscar, Jones, and Mayorga ahead of this guy. Leon has Jones, Glen Johnson, both Marquez's and Byrd ahead of this guy. All I'm saying is this guy will fight anyone, and most of us would pick him against anyone at 130 or 135 but we still dont give him his just do. Now, with that being said I wouldnt be surprised if he lost to Cassamorya

It is very possible he could lose to Casamayor, but I believe he can pull it out!

That being said boxing has become a some kinda show. It's not all about talent and the sport itself anymore. But people better not complain about it as they earn a lot more money cause of this. As a true fan this certainly is frustrating but what can you do?

However your take on the Castillo/Floyd fights in my view are off. After watching the second fight it just reaffirmed the horrible decision in the first fight. In my mind there is no way Floyd won that fight, no way. Either way you look at it Jose Luis Castillo is the one opponent that Floyd has not dominated, in fact he struggled both fights with him. If Floyd struggles with Castillo I think he would have a very tough time with KT or Cotto. Floyd is a guy who always calls out the best, however I do not expect him to call out KT...Floyd no's in his heart how tough the fights were against Castillo...if he fights KT they will be a lot tougher!
I think Floyd was getting his dad out of his system. If you really look at it his dad is a defensive trainer and his uncle is a offensive trainer. If you trained a certain way your whole life, it's going to take a while to get out of your system. His dad last trained him for Chico but he broke up with him right before the fight. After that he faught Hernandez, Chaves and Castillo, and Sosa. I thought he didnt look great in none of them. He was overly defensive. Even in the Sosa fight it looked like he could stop him if he wanted to but he would only be offensive in spurts. I think when the N'Dou fight came around he finally made the transition. If you saw him against N'Dou and Corley you would see that he is a offensive fighter now. That's why I would love to see him fight Jose again because this time I think he would go toe to toe with him the whole fight and dominate but I know no one is going to agree with that

What a fighter says before a fight means absolutely zero. Fighters rarely do what they say they will do, these comments by Castillo may be more of a poker game than anything else. LEt Casamayor think Castillo is going to start slow, he may get something totally different....I expect to see Casamayor down at least once within the first three to four rounds.
