Golovkin was the 2003 World Amateur Champion at Middleweight and the same tournament he beat:
Lucian Bute
Yordanis Despaigne
Andy Lee
Matvey Korobov
Oleg Mashkin

It's one of the most impressive runs in a tournament that i'v ever heard of.

In the 2004 Olympics Golovkin also beat Andre Dirrell but lost in the finals against Gaydarbekov.

Golovkin is currently rated #1 in the WBC & WBO (both the orgs that Pavlik has belts in) but i believe his people are going to push for a title shot against Felix Sturm.

Golovkin is from Kazakhstan.

Guerrero, Lemieux, Macklin too. Possibly Lara, Kirkland. Awesome division.

-first Adnan said he never want to fight for UniversumBP again
-Gennady said he will leave UBP(spot-light), because they wont shedule him in a good fight so far and in future. so he is pissed like Sergiy Dzinziruk was, who finally leave.

but Sturm has not leaved because the contract is not over yet, said UBP.
UPB wont let him go, cuz he makes the most MONEY in Universum than all the other fighters put together!

Yeah i hope Golovkin can leave Universum, they're career killers. I'd love to see him vs Pavlik but Universum obviously won't do that.

Pavlik is not interesed in GGG. he didnt fight Abraham and Sturm..why should he fight a such talented and ass-whooping rising star in golovkin???( people dont know him, because hes from Kazakhstan and they r jealous as hell)
