Yeah but the natural side effect of that would be muscle mass. Muscle mass is the last thing a fighter needs. Remember that Manny's fight night weight has basically been the same for quite a while now.

He has been in the 142-147 range basically for years on fight night. I also dispute the punching power part. Most of that **** comes from your bones.

u right manny is weighing the same fight night, but imo, he was previously losing water wieight and fat then rehydrating to the 147 range. Now it is mostly muscle that has him weighing 147. And u can see in him that he is bigger mass wise in comparison to fight night when he was at 130 or 135

a lot of punching power also come from the weight u put behind the punch as well, true. But if u build up muscles in your arms and forearms u will be more forceful with your thrust.

I played football for a bit and i was db. I would perform certain weight exercises to strengthen my arms which enabled me to jam receivers harder and more forceful.

So if i'm on roids, i can do those exercises more frequently and with more weight!! So therfore so can a boxer train harder and faster on his punches to add more force!
