Shane was on the level where he was looking for big money fights only (which is why he has turned down Berto in the past). When you put in the type of work Mosley has then you have earned the right to.

FWIW Mosley knew Forrest was a horrible style matchup for him as well as Winky. He still fought them because Mosley is just that type of fighter. At this point he is better than fighting unkown guys especially since he wont be fighting much longer and wants to get as much money as he can right now.
